I needed work experience to graduate! Your opportunity showed up on my University portal and I decided to give it a go.
I was looking for anything to do with engineering. Which is what I ended up getting.
The actual work experience I got ended up very different from what I was expecting, but that's okay as it was still really fun. I still learned a lot!
The people I worked with gave me a lot of freedom but were always available when I had questions.
Yeah, I’d say so! It was a little slow in the first week, but then it picked up and we got busy!
Yes! I was doing work I’ve never done before and that was a great experience.
I think so yeah. It's hard when you only come on an internship for 4 weeks. But I feel I made a contribution in my time here.
100%. It was wonderful and just so great. I wish I could stay for longer
Many of my friends and family were surprised when I wanted to come to Cape Town. They all thought it was very dangerous and told me I was going to get mugged or something.
If you’re smart about things there won't be a problem. It's the same as any other country...
Cape Town is beautiful. There’s too much to do! I didn’t do enough, and I wish I could have stated for longer.
Yeah even if you just came for a holiday. It's definitely worth it.
It was really good. I got to talk to Lucie and you a lot. If I had any questions, you were there! I was a little picky with what I wanted for my internship, and you guys always had another option waiting for me if I was unsure.
It was good! You guys kept reaching out to check up on me, making sure I was okay and happy at work. The socials were very good. You guys get an A+ from me!
Definitely the helpfulness. If I needed anything I could just contact you, which is awesome to have when you are in a new country for the first time.

Yeah definitely!

A bit expensive. It didn't matter to me much as my government paid my trip. But I can imagine it being quite expensive to those who are paying out their own pockets.
I think it's worth the experience!
I think its worth it. If you really want to travel you can find the money somewhere and do it.
