A non-profit research institute attached to a game reserve in the Western Cape. The organisation focuses on the relocation and long term stability of endangered African wildlife and vegetation.
The intern will be based on a game reserve with travel to neighbouring areas. Interns will join a conservation initiative where they will be exposed to tracking and anti potching initiatives, as well as research, monitoring, and evaluation of wildlife and suitable habitats.
Passion for conservation and research is essential Studying or completed studies in wildlife science, biology, animal behavior or related fields would be advantageous

Have the unique opportunity to work up close with endangered African wildlife in a game reserve setting. Full-time temporary role with expectation of 37.5 hours work per week. Summer placement of 8-12 weeks with some flexibility and potential to extend Internship completed on an unpaid basis.
