Before you came, what did you think of the programme fees?

I think what ever way you put it, it’s a lot of money. You do wonder is it going to be worth paying this amount?

After completing your trip, what did you think of the programme fees?

I very quickly learned that its all about the service. People need to realise as I did, that so much goes into finding good accommodation, good internships and also having the someone available all the time if I need help with something. I don’t think I would have been able to find all this on my own. It was very worth it. It is expensive, but you won’t have an experience as great as this if you don’t pay for it.

Before you came, what did you think of the programme fees?

A bit expensive. It didn't matter to me much as my government paid my trip. But I can imagine it being quite expensive to those who are paying out their own pockets.

I think it's worth the experience!

Well, this is one of the reasons I went with you; because Bridging Gaps is a very good value for the money. I thought it was a really good price.

After completing your trip, what did you think of the programme fees?

I do think in hindsight, that the concierge is almost double the price, for the extra services. These are really good services, the accommodation and the social stuff, and what I absolutely wanted. But I’m not sure that there should be such a big difference between the two programmes.

I feel like the fees were quite reasonable compared to other companies.

It was definitely worth it. The services provide an extra level of support that I really needed.

I was wondering what the money goes to and if its worth it to pay for this, or to just come on my own. But after arriving I very quickly realized it’s the service you provide!

After completing your trip, what did you think of the programme fees?

I realized very quickly how important it is to have a team who knows south Africa really well, available to help me when I needed them. And the stories I’ve heard from other interns where you have helped them out even when they directly went again your initial advice, for example going to dangerous areas or renting cars, you still helped them out of trouble even when you warned them.

Before you came, what did you think of the programme fees?

Hefty. Wow, for one person me, you’re charging that! Then I compared it to other programmes I’ve done. Fee to week ratio is great if you stay for 3 months. Plus, I can add Stellenbosch to my ‘home’ list. I would love to come back in a few years and check up.

After completing your trip, what did you think of the programme fees?

Outsourcing is sometimes the best money you can spend. I could have emailed around till the cows came home. Having you guys with in country contacts made the process of sourcing an internship that much quicker. Again, I will reiterate, it only took 2 months!

I was so happy that I could find the possibility of doing an internship paying a fee like that.

After completing your trip, what did you think of the programme fees?

I think that BG fees are the best value for money here in Cape Town.

I feel like the programme fees were very reasonable and probably the best price you could get for travelling and working in another country.

The fees were definitely worth it!
