The Concierge plan gets you to Cape Town safely and confidently but with a greater level of additional support and options from Bridging Gaps.
Concierge’s price of £1495 makes it a great value offer in comparison with other providers (around £500 cheaper), but with fantastic value features such as additional pre-trip preparation, local cell-phone, ongoing travel and orientation assistance plus access to weekly social events with the Bridging Gaps community. You can also access additional career-related support services such as seminars and workshops.
There is no maximum stay with Concierge, you can stay for any length of time and we’ll still be around to support you for your whole trip – an offer unique to Bridging Gaps.
What to expect with concierge

Everything in bootstrap, plus all of the following
On concierge, you get all of the features and benefits of Bootstrap plus the following additional features and benefits.
We guide you through all your pre trip preparations including assistance with visas, insurance and flights.
Comprehensive Preparation Pack & Welcome Pack
We provide you with a comprehensive pre-trip preparation pack which includes information on transport in Cape Town, money, tipping, mobile phones, safety, weather, activities and tours, Garden Route travel, restaurants and bars and advice on what to pack. Concierge clients also receive a welcome pack upon arrival which contains lots of additional Bridging Gaps goodies and guidance.
With concierge, you can also choose from two other options: (2) House share with local Capetonian or (3) Fully furnished room in Bridging Gaps apartment.
Airport Collection & Drop-Off
As well as meeting you when you first arrive, we will take you back to the airport at the end of your stay in Cape Town.
Cape Town Orientation, Health & Safety Briefing
On your second or third day of being in Cape Town, we will arrange your orientation day. We will show you where the best places for shopping, drawing money and eating out are and we will provide you with a comprehensive health and safety briefing. Your orientation day will also include a walking tour of the area you will be living in.
Free Local Mobile (Cell) Phone
We will provide you with a phone and a local sim card with some pre-loaded airtime.
Free Power Adaptor
You won’t even need to think about how to power your gadgets when you’re here, we’ll take care of it. We will provide you with a universal adapter.
Extended Transport Assistance
We will take you to your first day of placement and then we would be happy to accompany you going forward until you are comfortable getting there on your own.
Continued placement support
We stay in regular contact with you to ensure you are benefiting and learning from your placement and it is the right organisation for you. We will also provide regular advice about how to make the most of your internship or volunteer programme.
Weekly social events
We organise optional weekly social events for our interns to get to know eachother and Cape Town!
